This weekend we were off to Walker for the R100 Reinheart bow shoot. Everyone had a good time, John joined in on the fun too. The girls shot at the 14-18yr old line so it was a little tougher, but they did well considering.

Nationals 2010
Well it's our last day in Lincoln land and Katie ended our trip on a high note. She placed second in her flight and 8th overall out of 41 girls. Our littlest bean has had a great 2010 nationals...

Senior Prom!!
Well our senior year comes to an end with our big prom day. We started our day off with our annual prom morning feast...Perkins here we come. Then we were off to find diamond hair pretties....Pretty sure the ones from last year are now part of #2 or #3's collection. We then head to get our hair done and that is for another blog... Once our hair is sprayed in place, we head home to get dressed. John arrives and we are dashing off to the park to snap a few pictures with friends and of course the the John and Ally groupies have to get into a photo. The prom festivites include a grand dinner up north, prom at Music Man Square, and Post-Prom out at NIACC. Our evening doesn't end up until late morning so that we can go back to Perkins and head over to John's to watch a movie.

Kenzie first pass of the meet on Dm. Not bad, but messed up on the landing and didn't hold it for 5 seconds.....
kenzie and her double mini passes...not the greatest day on DM. But get the uglies out of the way before State!
Go Katie!! Slowly getting comfortable with the backflip...but only if Steve is there. She knows he pulls his arm once she turns her back but he is there for security!!
Katie's last double mini and she gets two 9.9's....really,,really. Unfortunately when we asked Katie what she thought of her score, she couldn't read it so she had no idea that her last score placed in in first place!!! Nice job Katie Grace. You rock!!

It was late Satuday night and Kenzie was tired. She was scared about competing 6up in her new level. Coach Vickie wouldn't let her compete unless she practiced and Kenzie wouldn't practice unless Coach Steve was at her side. Well both ended with great results and she took a 3 place trophy home. Cheers from the team, coaches and smiles from the tumbler!

Coach Vickie wouldn't let her compete the level unless she practiced and Kenzie wouldn't practice unless Coach Steve stood by her. Well both happened for great results. Tumbler, team and coaches were all happy and cheering!!
Katie completes her second meet with backhand springs. He first is 2 and her second is 3...only she only did 2 on her second...why momma asks, " I had to pee momma!"

Kenzie shoots with a Pro
Kenzie and Katie both got to shoot with a pro at the Pro Am. Kenzie got to shoot with Reo Wilde, The winner of the Worlds Archery Festival in 2009. He was a great partner as Kenzie struggled shooting since she didn't have a pin for 20 yards. She also got some great help from a buddie from the bow shop...Thanks Joe! Kenzie later was able to get his autograph on her Tshirt and hopes to see him again in the future!! Katie's Pro left the meet soon after it was over so we were unable to get her a picture with him but did get to get her picture with her friend from Minnesota, Anna
