We wrapped up our fun day in DM with a little face painting, The girls were excited to add a little color other than sunburn to their face. Kaite told me on the way home that it has been a lifelong dream of hers...8 long years she has waited to have makeup!

No weekend would be complete without a little bouncing of some sort. The girls got to bungie jump and flip around. Katie couldn't get quite over due to the harness, it was different and harder than the one in the gym mom!!

More GRRRRReat fun, we got to see Tony the Tiger while waiting to see Shawn and saw some REALLY big horses.

What a great day, a friend invited us to DM to see Shawn Johnson and the girls got their nationals T-shirts signed by her! They were pretty excited to see Shawn J.!

The nerves are just about over. Katie competes her last pass and takes 2nd in her flight and 4th overall.

National tumbling pass

With my eyes tightly shut, ears plugged Katie completes her first pass. She had a great first pass score and a smile and a hug to go with it. Good thing we taped it so I can watch it later.

Kenzie completes her final pass. She forgot one back handspring, but still came in second due to a great first score. Get the boo-boo out of the way before Texas, and lets flip out some great scores kid!!

So what do you do when you when your throat just swallows your stomach?? You find someone else to video and you close your eyes...and ears too, and wait for the tap that Katie's first pass is over and she did GREAT!! Angie and I may have to find a tranquilizer for Amarillo:>)

Kenzie double mini passes. She sticks all three and has a new pass. Again, not used to videoing, so you get to see 2 of the three. The first one is her new pass, and she does great!

Katie takes first in her trampoline flight and second overall. Few things to correct before next week, but she is ready for Amarillo!
